Creating, managing, and viewing forms has never been so easy, with SwiftEdit CMS.
This traditionally daunting task involved either painstakingly programming them manually, or using clumsy old fashioned content management systems.
This is no longer the case.
Here we see a live generated form on the swifteditcms.com website. We'll add in an example message and see it pop up on the administration end. I'll enter my email, phone number, name, and a comment
Submitting this form will instantly take us to a thank you page we've previously created. We're going to showthat inthe back-end now.
Immediately after logging in, we're taken to our Dashboard area. We'll select Modify a Page, and we can refine the pages that are displayed by un-checking some categories we don't want. Now, we're left with our contact form. We can select view submissions, and see the email we've previously created.
It gives us some information about the users browser, the time, their message, name, phone number and email.
We can very easily add additional forms at any time by using the Form Wizard. I'll first select add a page from the dashboard, chose the type 'form', and give it a name. We now have the freedom to add any number of form fields we wish. Let's add a multiple select box that lets us chose some colors. You can see here we're prompted to enter some options, I'll put in red, blue, and green. Next, we're given the option to chose what is written before the form, at the bottom of the form, and the thank you message. Let's change this. Lastly, we have the option to enter an email address, to act as a secondary location to receive these messages.
Switching back to the live site, we see the form we've just created, and immediately its ready to start taking submissions.
The form wizard is just one of the many exciting features that's part of the SwiftEdit Content Management System.
